In addition, we may decline an advertisement or article copy because of the applicability of laws dealing with such matters as libel, copyright and trademark, is indecent, vulgar, suggestive, profane, or offensive.

It is important to us that we provide fair and accurate content without spreading fear. We strive to earn and maintain your trust.

What are some other ways we do this?

When we are sure of the accuracy of the statement or data, we’ll include a link to the information or cite it in the article. You can then see where it comes from and view the source. If you feel like any of the information that you read on our site is inaccurate, please contact us here to let us know so that our team can review it.

A medical expert will confirm that a piece of content is thorough and contains facts and guidelines that reflect the latest research. When the content meets these standards, they will sign off on it, and when we publish it on our site, you’ll see their name and “reviewed by” under the headline, so you know an expert in that field has approved it.

Experts on our site are people who have received respectable training and certification or license in their field. They will receive a checkmark and a clearly stated professional title. Nina Spears, founder of Baby Chick, has personally tested thousands of products over her career and has assisted over 700 families through pregnancy, birth, and early childhood. As a baby planner, pregnancy and postpartum coach, birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, newborn educator, and mother, she either selects the products herself or oversees the final decision before they are included in our articles.

We never accept payment in exchange for product placements—our recommendations are independent and based solely on what we believe is best for parents and children.
